Ray Dixon of Bright has, after 18 months or so of hysterical denials and return accusations, finally admitted he is the so-called “parody character” Sockpuppet on Iain Hall’s blog, The Cesspit. While the identity of SockPuppet comes as no surprise to anyone, Dixon’s shrill further lies and denials this past week that he ever denied denying he was Sockpuppet is simply astonishing.

That sounds confusing, but it’s not really. Let’s recap some of the fantastic highlights of the past 18 months or so.

Back in November 2009, after a number of harassing, trolling comments by Sockpuppet and an obstinate Iain Hall refusing to cease his online stalking and delete his hundreds of stalking blogs, this blog declared that the sick puppet behind Sockpuppet was one Ray Dixon of Bright.

Out came the laughable “proof” of screen grabs from Iain proving that Ray Dixon was not the creepy Sockpuppet. Followed by Ray’s own denials in a swift fashion:

I just want to reiterate that he has once again named the wrong person. I am not Sock Puppet.

Some of the most surreal moments in these long months have been when Ray would respond to Sockpuppet… and vice versa. Like this one (and the one after it, in reply to himself). Bizarre.

“drawing the line between stalking and over friendliness”

Iain Hall and JF Beck still haven’t drawn it. Along with HJ and Ray Dixon, over-friendliness/stalking are still very well-represented.

Let’s kick things off with Reginald Bushpig’s brilliant clip.

The original post was in Irish – it was run through a translator to produce the gibberish above (which is remarkably similar to Husky Jim’s usual garbled blatherings). Husky Jim promptly took the post down, but a careful reader of Stalkwatch caught it on their Google reader.

Hall is a confirmed stalker of many years, and he’s dragged hotelier Ray ‘Sockpuppet’ Dixon into his sordid little web. The only people they attract at their blog tend to be trolls or weirdos, and none are weirder than sicko Jim. I won’t link to his blog here, as he doesn’t deserve the traffic. To have gone to the trouble of actually seeking out Dixon’s hotel shows that Husky Jim is a deranged stalker, and quite possibly dangerous. His previous exploits include hurling accusations at ex-Grodsters of hacking his email accounts. (His evidence – he gets spam!).

Whilst we at Stalkwatch do not condone Husky Jim’s disturbing behaviour, we feel it necessary to point out that it is only a mere extension of Hall and Dixon’s own stalking. Hall and Dixon used to aid and abet Husky Jim in his despicable conduct. They’ve sown a lot of stalking over the years, fertilised with their constant bullshit, and now they have to reap what they’ve sown.

Sadly, whilst we’ve been relaxing, the stalkers have continued their sick campaigns. There have been numerous examples of their degeneracy in recent months – almost too many to count – so let’s stick to the recent examples.

Ray Dixon is still about as funny and charismatic as a colostomy bag, whether speaking in his own name, or as Sookpuppet. I know that both he and Hall still check this blog on a regular basis.

Hall is still obsessed by his first love, the man he outed, Jeremy Sear.

More disturbingly, however, Hall and Dixon have acquired a new target – JM.

Hall has always maintained that he is ‘more sinned against than sinning’, as far as it goes with blog wars. In this case, JM’s heinous ‘sin’ is being a fuckload smarter than Hall and Dixon put together.

In a deranged, obsessive, and incredibly lengthy bit of stalking, Hall and Dixon have compiled all of JM’s statements online, published them, and highlighted the quotes where JM reveals personal information. This behaviour is sick and deviant, and we at Stalkwatch won’t reproduce JM’s ‘personal revelations’ here.  Hall’s post goes for thousands of words, which is proof that he has been mining JM’s information for many months. We have this post saved, of course, should serial liar Hall ever try to hide it.

It isn’t as if we didn’t already know that Hall and Dixon are serial, monomaniacal, perverse and twisted stalkers. This has been well-established by a number of very public and humiliating episodes at Chez Hall. What will come as news to some – maybe the two non-stalkers who still comment at his pathetic blog – is that Hall goes after the innocent personally. He harvests personal information even when his perceived enemy has done nothing more than best him at debate. And he persists in stalking, even when his supposed enemies, like Bourbon Boy, and Bridgit Gread, have been silent a long while.

And to think that the taxpayer foots the bill for this monstrous behaviour.

A couple of points of interest to kick things off: Hall complained to WordPress about a pic we used here, claiming it breached copyright. This from a guy who has gone through the Flickr pages of others, and posted their pics on the web.

Secondly, Ray Dixon is still sockpuppeting as Sockpuppet, and is still trying to troll his social betters at the Groupthink blog. He’s also taken to Sockuppeting at his own blog. First to guess his sockpuppets wins a free evening at the Bright Spattered Sheets Inn (with a free lecture on ethics by Dixon himself to anybody who can withstand 20 minutes of his company).

His illegitimate cousin tells us about ‘soy source’. (In fairness, she is more literate than Iain, by several orders of magnitude).

Our Stalkwatch senses first began tingling when, on the evening of November 5th, Dave G (of Pure Poison fame) left a first-time comment.

I was perplexed to see that, only minutes later, Sockpuppet had turned up at Hall’s blog, citing the comment in full:

It was obvious that Sockpuppet had only just checked Stalkwatch. So, having installed a stat counter earlier that day, I checked who the visitors had been.

Establishing Sockpuppet’s identity was quite simply. At that time of night, there was virtually no traffic, and it rapidly became clear that there was only one suspect IP address from the time in question. The owner of this IP actually visited twice. The IP looks like this:

As many readers may know, obtaining an IP address is relatively useless in and of itself. This information will only tell you very general information about your otherwise anonymous visitor.

However, it is possible to learn something more about your visitor if you type the IP address into your WordPress blog. This is what we did, and there was only one match:

In other words, Sockpuppet is none other than Ray Dixon (or, given the similar levels of literacy, perhaps Dixon’s cat).

It is fitting that he chose a swine as his avatar, as with his sanctimonious attempts at internet policing, all the while intimidating others beneath a pseudonym, he truly is the pig of the internets.

For hypocrisy, look no further than these comments from Dixon (of not too Bright):

I really wonder just what pleasure you get out of that sort of narky & snarly shite. You must have very low self esteem if you can’t even sneer at others under your own name.

This from a man who does not dare to criticise Groupthink or Dave G using his own name. In the same comment thread, he says:

As for the blog author – well if you allow that sort of crap to go on under a pseudonym it’s a reflection on you.

I wonder if Mr Dixon is as frank and forthright with his host, Mr Hall? I’m sure that readers will have other examples of Dixon’s monumental hypocrisy. Some more here:

Is SockPuppet on your passport, Mr Dixon?

 The simple rule that anonymous bloggers & commenters should all follow is this : If you’re not prepared to publish your mean-spirited , defamatory & insulting comments under your own name and be held accountable for them, then don’t write them.

It’s a rule that seems to have escaped Mr Dixon in recent times. What does he say when he is anonymous?

WHAT. A. F*CKWIT.

Dixon and Hall will no doubt be seething that yet another internet scheme has gone awry. Hall in particular is becoming a caricature, so numerous and grotesque are his many internet failures. This will be recorded as another sordid chapter in the Encyclopaedia.

They will blame the present author for their predicament. They won’t acknowledge that nobody forced Mr Dixon to adopt a pseudonym, by which to attack others. They won’t acknowledge that nobody forced Mr Dixon to join the ranks of a known stalker. They won’t acknowledge that Mr Hall could have prevented this outing at any time, by simply removing his stalk content from the internet, content which is without any sane justification. No, these two will continue to blame everybody but themselves, and will pretend that the current situation has nothing to do with their own behaviour. It matters not – the documentary record is there for all to see. Again, we had hoped to avoid this situation, but Hall chose stalking over Dixon. It is as simple as that.

Sadly, Stalker Number One is at it again after an all-too-brief hiatus.

Iain Hall, who famously disapproves of people using internet anonymity to slag off others, has heaped hypocrisy upon stupidity by using an anonymous commenter to attack long-time enemy Scott Bridges’ new blog, Groupthink.

Since that time, a number of things have happened. Iain Hall and Sockpuppet (henceforth known as ‘SP’) have contined to harrass the bloggers of Groupthink and Pure Poison. They’ve also taken great exception to this blog pointing out their stalking ways.

But that’s not all that’s happened. We at Stalkwatch have proof – conclusive, irrefutable, and ready for publication at any time – of the identity of anonymous stalker SP.

We at StalkWatch are not particularly interested in ‘outing’ anonymous bloggers. We certainly don’t intend to silence the extremist views of Mr Hall, and his coterie of equally extreme lunatics and degenerates. We do, however, baulk at stalking and harrassment of the sort that Hall has provided in droves, and which SP appears to have now signed up to.

To that end, we are quite happy to bury the damaging information at our disposal, on the following conditions:

1. Iain Hall removes all photographs of political enemies from his blogs and other sites.

2. Iain Hall shuts down the blogs ‘niceperson709′, ‘niceperson907′, and any other blogs dedicated solely to attacking others.

3. The SP character is retired, permanently.

4. All existing posts by SP are deleted.

5. SP’s creator and Iain Hall refrain from further stalking behaviour on blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr.

In exchange, we at Stalkwatch will refrain from publishing our very damaging evidence of SP’s identity. We will also delete the present post. We do not expect any apologies or explanations, merely an end to the stalking. We hope that this incident can be forgotten, and that we can all go on our merry way with political, blogospheric debate. We don’t want to see Iain’s blog return to the bad old days when it was just a vehicle to attack others. We don’t want to see people stop commenting and debating his extreme views. Unfortunately for Iain, just as comments from various people were flowing again at his blog, they have stopped.

Should you refuse to comply with our reasonable requests, we shall have no choice but to publically identify you, and publish our evidence. Think carefully before you choose. You, SP, have already been fooled into giving the full name and identifying details of a third-party online. This material is potentially defamatory. You, Sockpuppet,  have another blog under your real name,  and this name will be forever conjoined with SP and Stalkwatch should anybody do a google search. You have made strong statements against internet anonymity, statements that are now examples of the utmost hypocrisy. You have abused a position of trust with respect to the detestable Iain Hall. Finally, and most disturbingly, you have betrayed a number of erstwhile friendly bloggers with your behaviour. If you refuse to accede to our reasonable request, we would have no choice but to inform these other bloggers of your two-faced behaviour. I should expect that your online reputation would be ruined, and that you would be banned from most reputable blogs.

We expect compliance with our request by 6pm, EST, 9/11/09 (viz. tomorrow).
